At XM, we’re committed to contributing meaningfully and making a difference where it matters most.

This belief inspired our involvement with the Santa Shoebox Project (SSP), an initiative that supports 

underprivileged children across South Africa. Each year, SSP delivers shoeboxes filled with essentials 

and small gifts to tens of thousands of children in educational and care facilities nationwide.

Since 2006, the Santa Shoebox Project has grown from a simple idea into a movement that changes 

lives. More than 1.3 million shoeboxes have already been distributed, and the impact continues to grow. 

Some children who once received shoeboxes are now part of the organisation itself, showing how a single 

act of kindness can shape a future.

This year, the team joined volunteers at Canal Walk in Cape Town to prepare shoeboxes for Christmas. 

We spent the day wrapping gifts and organising packages alongside members of the SSP organisation. 

Our hands-on support helped bring joy to children this festive season.

XM aims to uplift local communities and foster long-term development within the country. This is reflected 

in our extended support of the SSP Legacy Project that focuses on transforming Early Childhood Development 

(ECD) centers in rural and impoverished communities.

Inspired by SSP’s work, we remain dedicated to creating lasting opportunities. Guided by our values - Big,
