Damian Bunce is set to depart from his role as Chief Customer Officer at Exness, concluding a tenure spanning over three years in which he has been instrumental in driving the company’s trading product strategies, risk management, and both B2C and B2B marketing efforts.

over three years in which he has been instrumental in driving the company’s trading product strategies, risk 

management, and both B2C and B2B marketing efforts.


Bunce, who initially joined Exness as Chief Trading Officer back in 2020, was tasked with improving the company’s 

credibility on a global scale. His previous role as CTO at Exness involved overseeing the trading department, which 

reported $4 trillion in monthly turnover throughout 2023. With a workforce of over 2300, around 250 are dedicated 

to the trading department.


Damian’s career spans 30 years in the industry and includes serving as Chief Commercial Officer and on the Board 

of Management at Saxo Bank. His background in investment banking extends over 20 years, reaching a peak role as 

Managing Director at Barclays Capital. He also spent a decade at Goldman Sachs in sales and trading.


Damian Bunce has a global perspective, his LinkedIn profile shows, having lived and worked in major world cities and 

managed international teams. In 2022, he shifted focus towards private investing and advisory roles, including with 

the crypto startup finerymarkets.com, and guided Exness’s investment in Crossover Markets.


At Sberbank, from January 2012 to January 2018, Bunce served as Managing Director of FX & Commodities and Global 

Head of Electronic Markets. During his time there, he was a key player in managing a $1.5 billion global markets business, 

contributing to the bank’s franchise in electronic forex and commodities trading.


Bunce’s career in the financial sector also includes roles at Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank as Managing Director of 

the Equities Division, Head of Electronic Trading EMEA, and earlier, at Goldman Sachs as Executive Director of the Equities 

Division, Head of Electronic Trading Distribution. His early career saw him at Barings as Director of the Securities Division 

and at IBM in the Software Products Division.
