The festive season was an extra special opportunity for Tickmill to pursue various Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and actively support charities and organisations that help people, groups, and communities in need.

Here is a breakdown of our latest philanthropic work:

Contributions to public schools in Limassol, Cyprus

Tickmill is always looking for ways to assist students, promote learning and education, and this time, we devoted our efforts to improving the well-being of students in need and their families. We held a clothing and food collection campaign at our office in Limassol, where employees wholeheartedly donated a significant amount of clothes and food supplies. Tickmill also contributed with supermarket and clothing vouchers. All donations were distributed at different public schools in Limassol by Tickmill volunteers.

“Adopt a Family for Christmas” Campaign, Cyprus 

The Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC) held its annual campaign, “Adopt a Family for Christmas,” and we couldn’t but participate in the cause! The campaign aims to help vulnerable families feel the joy of Christmas through the donation of gift vouchers, food, equipment, and Christmas presents for children. Tickmill donated supermarket vouchers to cover the needs of our fellow human beings and spread a little Christmas joy during this festive season.

“The Bus of Santa Claus” Campaign in Limassol, Cyprus 

Every year the radio station Kanali 6 and EMEL, the Limassol Passenger Transport Company, organise a gift collection campaign during Christmas for children who will not have the chance to receive a gift from Santa Claus. At Tickmill, we believe that all children should receive a gift for Christmas; therefore, we donated bags full of presents in the hope of fulfiling the campaign’s aim. All gifts collected will be distributed to the Limassol Welfare Office and other charities.

Kids Christmas Party & Fundraiser in Limassol, Cyprus 

We organised a special party for children this December to raise money for charity. Children from the Limassol Children's Home were invited to join the party as well as Tickmill employees with their children. The party included many fun activities such as face painting, dancing, craft making, a bubble machine and a piñata game. Santa Claus also visited the children to share gifts and take pictures with them. A charity bazaar took place, and all money raised from the party was given to the Funraising Association.

Donation to the Colorful World Foundation in Łódź, Poland

The Colorful World Foundation in Lodz, Poland dedicates all its efforts to providing care and specialised treatment to children of all ages. We were more than happy to support its mission by making a charitable donation. The foundation operates a Center for premature babies, a Colorful Kindergarten and School, a Daily Rehabilitation Unit and provides Early Development Support classes.

Donation to the Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation, Estonia

Tickmill showed its support to one of the most prominent charitable foundations in Estonia, the Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation, by making a monetary contribution. The foundation, through the donations of individuals or companies, supports children who need special treatment and care, as well as their families and purchases medical equipment for hospitals.

This is just a sample of our CSR projects as the year ends, and we plan to spread more joy in 2023. A big thank you to all our team members and volunteers who stayed true to the Tickmill values of Transparency, Honesty, Integrity, and Synergy and selflessly contributed to our campaigns.
