Multi-asset broker Exness has released client trading volume figures for December 2022, bringing to a close a record-setting year for the Cyprus-based broker – and probably the best year ever for a retail oriented FX/CFDs brokerage.
Client trading volume at Exness totaled $2.525 trillion in December 2022, up 5.0% from November’s $2.405 trillion. Exness saw 374,978 active clients during December, down slightly from November’s record 383,846 but still the second-best such mark in the company’s history.
For the year 2022, Exness averaged $2.27 trillion in monthly client trading volume, up by 146% over 2021’s $922 billion.

During Q4 2022 Exness honored $1.135 billion in client withdrawal requests, up slightly from Q3’s $1.103 billion. Also during Q4 Exness paid out $99.1 million in partner commissions, down from $106.5 million in Q3.
For the full year 2022, Exness clients withdrawals totaled $4.09 billion, and the company paid out $377.5 million in partner commissions.
