In December 2022, XM organized our 5th charity brunch. Goods made in Uganda and brunch dishes were sold in our Cyprus and Greece offices to raise money for Ugandan orphans. This event is part of XM’s ongoing support to the Saint Antonios of Monde Orphanage.

Once more XM employees had a chance to help the less fortunate by buying and savouring delicious dishes cooked by our volunteers for this good cause. Colourful home goods, jewellery, and accessories from Uganda were also sold like hot cakes. The money raised will go to the orphanage located in Wobulenzi, Uganda to provide food and medicine for over 400 children in need.

According to UNICEF, over 2 million children in Uganda have become orphans in the past decade. So many of them do not have the chance to build a future for themselves and grow into educated, financially independent adults without the support of charities and volunteers.

XM initiated to help Ugandan children in need in 2017 and we remain dedicated to our mission to shape children’s future well-being and create equal opportunities for all. Aside from raising money, XM has contributed to the construction of a school building, joined forces with local charity organisations to break down barriers to education and more.
