We are introducing updates to the VIX symbol’s trading hours and leverage settings to offer a more efficient and market-aligned trading experience.



We are introducing updates to the VIX symbol’s trading hours and leverage settings to offer a more 

efficient and market-aligned trading experience. 


These changes will take place in two phases: 


Trading Hours Extended 

The VIX symbol will be available for trading during longer, more flexible hours, improving your access to 

the market throughout the week. 


New Trading Sessions (UTC+3):  


DayCurrent Trading HoursNew Trading Hours
Monday – Thursday 16:30–23:15 01:01-23:15, 23:30-23:58 
Friday 16:30–23:15 01:01-23:15 


These new hours go live on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 00:00 (GMT+3). 


Friday Leverage Adjustment 

To support better risk management ahead of weekly market closure, leverage for the VIX symbol will be reduced 

to 1:10 every Friday before market close, beginning June 13, 2025. 


We recommend checking your open positions and adjusting your strategies ahead of these changes to avoid any 

disruption to your trades.
